Delete your account in the app

1. Sign in to TrunkLists and open Profile → Settings.
2. Scroll to Danger Zone and choose Delete Account.
3. Confirm your password or reauthenticate with your sign-in provider when prompted.
4. Type DELETE and confirm the deletion.

On the website, open Settings, then find Delete Account under Privacy → Data Management. Website deletion requires your password. If you cannot sign in or complete deletion, use the email option below.

Request deletion without the app

Email info@chorusvllc.com with the subject TrunkLists account deletion request. Send it from the email associated with your account and include your TrunkLists username, if known.

If you cannot access that email address, tell us in your request. We will need to verify account ownership before deleting data to protect your account from unauthorized requests. Never send your password, sign-in codes, or identity documents in the initial email.

This button opens your email application; send the message to submit the request. Opening this page or clicking the button does not itself delete your account.

What deletion removes

• Your account record, name, email, username, password hash, and linked sign-in records.
• Your wishlists and their items, gifting preferences, saved special dates, and account settings.
• Your friendship connections, account-linked notifications, and other associated account records.
• Gift-exchange games you created and their related game data, including data involving other participants.

The deletion process also attempts to remove managed profile photos and relevant White Elephant gift photos from file storage. File cleanup can fail separately from account deletion; contact us if you have concerns about a remaining uploaded image.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Deleting games you created also affects other players. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account.

Timing and retained information

In-app deletion removes account records when the deletion completes. Email requests require ownership verification first. Our Privacy Policy states that personal data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

This is not a guarantee of immediate erasure from every backup or log. Service-provider backups, operational or security logs, and legally required records may have separate retention periods. Exact backup and log retention periods have not yet been verified. Contact info@chorusvllc.com for information about any retained data and the applicable retention period.

Delete content without deleting your account

You can delete your own wishlist items or entire wishlists using their edit or delete controls while keeping your TrunkLists account. For other data-deletion requests, email info@chorusvllc.com and identify the information you want removed.
